Through personal and Boy Scout use I have used several brands. I prefer Eureka for their durability and good design. My favorite family tent we have had for over 20 years and has withstood winds up to 75 mph without collapsing. I perfer them to Coleman because they have nylon floors and they last much longer than the plastic tarp floors. Both brands have good customer service and so does Bass Pro! I broke a pole to one of my tents a week before an outing to Yellowstone and Bass pro got me the poles in time for my trip.

We've had several brands over the years but Coleman has consistently been the best. Their quality is great, and they seem to really understand what is needed in a tent. Especially a family tent. They are vented great and have places to hang things, and pockets to place things. I think you can't go wrong with Coleman.
