Break the barrel open once to load and cock; you get the maximum velocity. No pumping needed!

Look on Beeman's web site, or in the manual that came with the rifle; call the customer service number and they can tell you. You might have to send it to them or bring it to an 'authorized service center', again the customer service folks can tell you what you need to do.

It means that mail-order sales are restricted; exactly how depends on your particular laws. Rifles sold in department stores in NC meet the state requirements; and Bass Pro either won't ship to that state or they'll only ship air rifles that meet the legal requirements in that state.

Yep. It has variable power, and on a good night you can see the craters on the moon. Though I think the Gamo Big Cat is a better rifle.
