What brand do you recommend?
I was wondering what brand of 209 primer do you recomment for a new Triumph Bone Collector muzzel loader. Also, shooting a 250 gran sabot, what brand of powder pellets and load do you recommend, thanks

The Remington clean bore209 primers are the best I have used. Also the IMR white hots 2 pellets & 250 grain Barnes T-EZ FB bullets. I think you will be very happy with this load..

Primers that I have had the best success with are the Winchester Triple 7 primers. CCI primers seem to be very corrosive and leave a corrosive ring in the seating area. As far as the bullet goes, I like a Hornady sabot. The power belts are easier to load but not very accurate.

I have tried a couple different brands and the Remington Clean Bores work well. I haven't had one missfire and you can take the caps out with your fingers. I've noticed the other brands winchester and 777, are tough to get out once you fire them off.
