answer 2
Yes the Xbox 360 rod controller does work on the pc. Just plug and play, no additional setup required. However do not update to the latest driver on Windows update, it will break the casting motion of the controller. Stick to the default built in Windows driver.

The Xbox 360 fishing controller is USB, and works with the PC/Windows version of the game as well. The PC doesn't use motion sensors - all of that is integrated into the controller itself. You cannot buy the controller separately unfortunately.

answer 2
The sensor is built in the rod controller. It is not the same as a wii controller. The 360 rod controller will work on a pc. To cast, it is all about the wrist action to make the rod work. Far as I know, you cannot get just the rod by itself. Check out the internet or somewhere for a used one.

A manual comes with the game, but you need to exit out to find it. It has the key commands on it. Basically W,A,D,S to drive the boat. Mouse controls camera and casting. left mouse button to reel.

You have to buy both separately. I bought both the PC game, then bought the Xbox 360 bundle just for the fishing controller and gave the X360 game to someone else as a gift.
