It is a heavy jacket and would be hot for 60 degrees. My husband wears it when it is below 50 outside.

Yes, it's very heavy. I wouldn't wear this in 60 degree weather, maybe 35 at the most.

It would probably be too warm for 60 degrees, although not a thick jacket, the material makes it so wind does not go through.

60 would be ok but, not much warmer. If you are going to be real active while in the 60s, it might get a bit too warm

Are the sleeves lined with the same material as the body? I'm looking for a jacket that has warm sleeves, not nylon lined. Thank you.

The sleeves are nylon lined but, the insulating material is there too. The nylon is just to help you get your arms in easier if you have a shirt or other layer with long sleeves.

How small/big does this jacket run?
My boyfriend is 5'10'' and about 160-170lbs. He is pretty tall and slim, I was going to order him a medium but wasn't too sure on the size. This is part of his xmas gift so I can't ask him and need some elses advice about this... HELP!
