Is this rod interchangeable to freshwater fishing?

If not, do you have a better salt-freshwater fishing rod/reel combo that you would recommend?

I own the smallest of the combos, and I've used it as a heavier bass rod. It could definitely handle some larger channel cats as well.

uhm I would have to say no it's not, unless your after 30 + pound fish, it's a heavy action pole, I suppose you could but it would be like using a baseball bat for a pole
