Is this rod interchangeable to freshwater fishing?

If not, do you have a better salt-freshwater fishing rod/reel combo that you would recommend?

I own the smallest of the combos, and I've used it as a heavier bass rod. It could definitely handle some larger channel cats as well.

uhm I would have to say no it's not, unless your after 30 + pound fish, it's a heavy action pole, I suppose you could but it would be like using a baseball bat for a pole

I can imagine these combos would be great for about any inshore species. I've fought almost everything we have up here in our inshore waters, and the rod came out on top.
