Yes, but they need to be on different radio frequencies. Each truck comes is either a 27 or 49mHz model. They cannot switch frequencies, so you need to be careful which you buy. Most toy (non-pro) R/C vehicles come in only 27 or 49 mHz, so odds are you'll only be able to run 2 of these trucks at a time.

i was at a bass pro demo of these truckes...they had 2 of them on a table racing each other and letting kids play with them....when i used it i was next to the other operater with no problems

I saw a display of 2 trucks operating side by side in the store today and there was not a problem.

I just purchased 2 of these today and the clerk made sure I had boxes labeled with different frequencies. 49.86Mhz and 27.145Mhz are the only two options. So you can run 2 without problems if they are different frequencies, but not 3 as they only offer this in 2 frequencies.

It feels like soft vinyl or rubber, with about a 1/8" tread.
