No power adapter that I saw but you can use it on large knives and even mower blades.

Mine did not come with any types of power adapters. You can sharpen larger knives and machetes. I have sharpened lawn mower blades too.

No,you need a power adapter.Use a file first to take knicks off larger blades first.

No power adpater included in mine. I did hunting knives, kitchen knives, machetes, and scissors. Even did serrated knives. This tool really impressed me!

(the US version) doesn't include any power adapters. I've used it on machetes - you simply take off the guide and go to town on those bigger blades.

No power adapters come with it. Runs on 120v AC.
It could be used for larger knives, you just have to slow down the time pulling it thru the guides. I have sharpened from 4" to 12" with it without a problem.
