No. It is close. Or at least the one I bought 3 years ago was, don't remember exactly how much it was out, but it was. No prob, part of the fun of a new rifle and scope are getting to know them. I see folks that can zero in 3 shots, I'm not that guy and don't want to be. I'll run 75-100 rounds through any new rifle the first day for break in, and to learn how much heat and rapid fire affect accuracy. With this individual rifle it goes 2" left and 1/2" high when it gets hot.

Wasn't aligned out of the box, but the adjustments were easy. You will see a knob on the top and the side of the scope to adjust up/down and left/right

the scope wasn't aligned when i bought this gun but it is not hard to set up its the same as any other scope
