Yes, the safety also serves as a decocker. It actually is on safe in the down position, just opposite of a 1911 Colt. To take the safety off, you just push it up and forward. Not hard to do while holding the pistol. If the pistol is cocked, you just put it on safe and it drops the hammer, just like on a Walther PPK or Sig or Smith and Wesson. If the gun is cocked and loaded, dropping that hammer always scares me, and of course is always pointed in a safe direction. I own Glocks, Smith, Sig action, Walthers and others. I keep the P95 out of the safe for home defense, so that gives you an idea how confident I am with it. I have had mine about 2 years and never a jam. Really a good workhorse, ugly maybe, but functionally the best.

Two Magazines, California is limited to 10 rounds. As for the laser sight weapon has tactical rail on bottom for light or laser. Bass Pro does have an abundance of accessories.

answer 4
2 15 round mags come in the box. If they have any regular laser mount then It will work. It has big enough of a rail to hold pretty much any handgun laser. I would assume they would have something to choose from.

Stay away from unknown reloaded ammo and from aluminium cased ammo.

I have the older P89 and it eats any ammo I put in it. Choose your ammo based off what your planned use is. Federal Champion FMJ is a good round for target shooting. Use hydroshock or JHP rounds for self defense.

You'll probably want to take a look at your state laws. I don't think that there is an issue in Maryland but it's always a good idea to ask one of your local officials about the specifics of the law before hand.
