I recommend going on Shimano's and St,Croix's web site. They will explain each rod and the features that will be a benefit for the type of fishing you do. i.e.do you fish from a boat? Do you use live bait? Do you use jigs? I use both St.Croix and Shimano rods and they are both great quality. They will explain each rod and the line test recommended, lure weight, and any other questions you need answered.

I do not know what jumpjig fishing is, but if it's for jigging tuna or fish of that size yes. I have the sw5000 I use for striped bass and blues. Hope this helps.
