Made from Element 21's high modulus nano-Bio-fiber (carrots) polymer graphite technology, yielding incredibly light, yet strong and responsive action for landing the big ones. I've had excellent luck pairing the Salty Carrot with an Abu Garcia Soron STX 40. Either the STX 20 or STX 40 would work extremely well.

How does the Salty Carrot Stix spinning rod differ from the Orignial Carrot Stix

Looking for a spincast and wanted to know the difference from the Salty inshore Carrot Stix from the Original Carrot stix of the 2 spinning rods

Not sure the difference. I think the salty series is just a little more stout. The 7'6" has some serious backbone. You will notiice it as soon as u pick it up.
