No. These socks are made for warm weather. They wick away moisture to keep your feet dry. Try UA socks called "Cold Gear"

These are Heat Gear socks, so if you are looking for something to keep your feet warm I would lean towards Cold Gear socks. These will help keep your feet dry by wicking away moisture, but you would need an insulating layer above these.
I don't think so, they are fairly light wight.
