Yes the wire does free swivel in side the sinker to help prevent line twist.

They do swivel around. I've tried to pull the eyelet out and couldn't do it, and they still swivel around after that force

They swivel. Sometimes the rotation is a little rough, so work them around by hand and few times to loosen them up

The line tie swivels. They are also anchored pretty good.
