Any quality 100 grain field tip would give you useful practice. However, you will get the most effective practice using the actual mechanical broadheads you will hunt with. You need to plan to take a few shots before the season with the actual broadhead into a target designed for mechanicals.

Any quality field tip that is the same weight as the broadhead you will be using would give you useful practice. However, the most effective target practice would come from shooting the actual broadhead you will use during the season. You need to plan to take at least a few shots before hunting with the actual broadhead into a target made to handle mechanicals.
