What material is the cocking lever made from?
My father's Red Ryder had a steel or at least metal cocking lever. I've heard this one has a plastic lever. Which is correct?

its made of plastic, but its quite durable, my neighbour has a red ryder its it is strong.

no, the only tupe of ammo you can use is .175 bbs

this is a bb gun. sorry. but with steel shot it is great for close range pest control.
