Made of 420 denier nylon with PU backing for 100% waterproof protection, Finley River waders have seams that have been taped and tested at the factory to prevent leaks. Waders have durable 3.5mm neoprene bootie with gravel guards. High front and back design with an elastic top line for a better fit. Question
What size to get?
I am 5' 9" with a 32" inseam exactly and wear size 10 boots. What size should I buy? The sizing guide shoes I would wear an XS based on the inseam measurements... I can't imagine that I would actually fit an XS considering I am of pretty average height. A shoe size in the sizing information would help. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am 6' with a 32" inseam and a 37 inch waist and a size 12 shoe. I tried a Medium and they were pretty tight. The Large are much more comfortable and easier to move around. The sizing chart for these waders is quite misleading in my point of view. I called one of the retail stores and asked the advise of the sales person in charge of the waders department. He first advised me to get a Large. I should have listened to him the first time instead of trying to figure it out myself.

i'm 6'1" 34 inseam, 34 waist and bought a M. go in and try them on if possible. The Larges were too huge.I couldn't believe i was a M until i got in them. My shoe is 11 so I went with an 11 wading boots. they felt big at first but with the wool socks and wading stocking feet, they're now a pretty good fit.

The experts at your local BPS can best answer that, knowing how the sizes run for wading boots. They probably answer that Q. every day. Several I have found tell you to order your regular size boot since the manufacturer assumes the customer will be using neoprene booties with a good warm wading sock. So they will run larger to compensate. Ask BPS live on line or call em up. Worked for me.

Stocking Foot or Boot Foot?
Can you wear the stocking foot waders directly in the water, or do you have to buy the wading boots? How does the stocking part hold up on the gravel?

You will want/need wading boots.
While stocking is pretty tough, it can not hold up to gravel, rocks and sticks found in strem and in route to.
Besides, if you find walking on rocks uncomfortable, the boots are worth the comfort.
