i use it on my 1975 70hp johnson if it will fit over the "gills" it will work it would probobly work for you

Question

Will this flusher work on a 2008 mercury 6HP?

Main reason for using it will be to winterize it as well as get it running first thing in the spring so I don't have to fill up a trash barrel every time.

iw works on my johnson 1975 70hp if it will fit over the "gills" of the motor it should work never seen one that didnt.

which motor flusher to buy

I have a 135HP Johnson outboard. Looking for a motor flusher, mainly for running in the spring before 1st launching - also for flushing salt water. Any suggestions on which of the 3 to bjuy?

This one will work just fine. I've used mine to winterize a friends Evinrude/Johnson 150 E-TEC the last 2 years, and it worked perfectly fine.

If the water takeup ports are on the sides of the motor shaft then it should work.

Fits almost all outboards with cylinders! Most cylinder have a standard measurements so you shouldnt have any problems! Great product!
