Questions & Answers for Highland Universal Pet Barrier

Is the extension kit pictured in the above picture?

I am just wondering if I need to purchase the extension kit along with the pet barrier. I would be using the back of a seat, but the description seemed a little unclear.

If the back seat is down, you probably will need the extension kit. If up you probably will not need it.
