is it a good idea to buy it for a .177 cal air gun or is this only for a .22 gun

It is two different scopes for sale. The first one is an fixed 4x32 mm and is $39.99.The second one is an adjustable 3x9x34mm and is $34.99. If you press more details/add to cart it will say what the different powers are.
