I have used this jacket for over 10 years and I can tell you that I have never had a problem with wind, and I work primarily outside in all temperatures.

I think so. My husband works outside on top of buildings and it's very windy here in the winter. These are the only coats he wears. Hope this helps

Pretty strong, the only thing I have been able to puncture it with (on accident) was a barbed wire fence. I have grazed it with many a branch, knife, fishing hook, chain link fence, etc and I only have the one hole from the barbed wire.

These coats are extremely durable. Kind of like wrangler jeans. My husband is notorious for tearing his clothes but these jackets last at least 5 years with him.

No it's not flame retardant, however it's a great tough warm jacket otherwise.

No, this jacket is not Flame-Resistant. Try Carhartt model FRJ237: Men's Flame-Resistant Midweight Active Jac/Quilt-Lined, which we do not carry.

I'm not sure what the exact rating is, but I know that I have been in 20 degree weather with only this jacket and a long-sleeve shirt underneath and still felt pretty warm. It stands up to the wind and light rain really well also.

Per Carhartt, they do not give temperature rate their garments. However, the lining is categorized into warm, warmer and warmest. The Quilted Flannel lining is considered the warmest. Thanks
