Has anyone ever used this stuff to protect the finish on your rods: guides, inserts, etc.? If so, would you recommend it? Thanks!

I use the stuff religiously and clean and spray my guides after each fishing trip. It does not keep the lake scum off completely but I don't know how much build up I would have if I did not use it..

Yes, It works great as a sun screen and keeps the rod real clean. I treat my guides and it seems to help with longer casts.

I used this spray on my line, the guides, and some of my rod blank. I would definitely recommend this spray. It really helps to combat backlashes. I noticed no oily residue.

you better belive it works!!! i spray it about 5 hours before i go fishin' it's better if you let it dry but it works great either way
