They do to a certain extent. They help get rid of surface glare which will help you see more fish/ underwater structure. Not a miracle, but still a decent improvement, especially on bright days

The blue mirrored pair is awesome in full sunlight in clearer water. If the clouds come out switch immediately to a lighter colored lens as the blue tends to get weak with any cloud cover or shadowing.
