The parka and the bibs are pretty breathable. I have worn mine when it is 70 to 80 degrees and have been comfortable. it can get a little warm in them but i believe it is from the bad humidity that is here in the south. Either way this has been the absolute best piece of fishing equipment i have ever purchased. Even in the early morning spring and summer it can get somewhat cool. This is great to put on while blasting off to your favorite fishing spot.

I just placed a post indicating I had the very problem you fear durring very heavy rain in Canada. After a few hours of sitting on a wet seat cushion trolling the bib's seat leaked. I hope it was just a faulty seam, and will give them one more try because they are comfortable and otherwise great. But they need to be bullett proof ... and if not I will have to explore other options. Good Luck.

Question
Is this too warm for South Florida?
I live in SE Florida and I fish from inlet jettys. We get lots of HEAVY rain and often the waves are breaking over onto the jetty. In the summer, it can be 90 degrees with 90% humidity. Add the wind, rain and waves and I have not found a rainsuit that can keep me dry without overheating. Will this, with the parka, fit the bill?
