Questions & Answers for McGard McGard Propeller Lock

Are each keyed differently

If you have this lock, how is it protected from thieves? If they are the Pro's, could they have a key to fit the lock or are they totally keyed different to eliminate this problem?

answer 2
If thieves try to steal the prop, the stainless barrel of the lock/nut just spins, no matter how much they try to wrench on it. You have to have the McGard key and socket wrench to remove. You should keep your key with you not your boat. No worries about different keys.
