Does the Digger Anchor require a chain attached to the end or can you connect your anchor rope directly?

You can connect the rope directly to the anchor. Pull the boat directly over the anchor and jerk. The anchor comes up clean.

i have mine connect wth just rope. but plan to purchase a quick disconnect.

no and that is one of the things so nice about it just jerk the rope and it releases

you don't need a chain tie directly to the rope. The company does not recommend using a snap hook

My experience is not good with or without a chain in sand and current.

It takes a little jerk to release the handle, but then it would wind up fine.

12lb Anchor up to 36 ft boat is this correct ?

Other web sites list the 12 lb model up to 20 ft boats and the 15 lb model up to 40ft boats. Is this a typo on your site ?
