yes its a single shot because its a breack barrel, it fires clean and loud at first but getts guiet

This is a single shot only. You break the barrel, insert the pellet, and raise the barrel back into position, now it's loaded and cocked.

Question

why can't I purchase this product in MI?

I sent an e-mail to the state police webmaster and was informed that anything over a .20 caliber rifle was considered a firearm in MI. It is my understanding that is why pellet gun sales are restricted in my state, however since firearm sales aren't illegal I don't understand why i can't go through the same process i would go through to purchace a rifle or shotgun to buy one of these pellet guns.

.22 cal. ammo

I own this gun, and I was wondering if there is a lead free round in this caliber. I know there are p.b.a. pellets in the .177 cal. but how about for the .22?
