Customer Questions & Answers for
Netbait NetBait Tiny Paca Craws

Super-salty and extra-squirmy—that's just the start of what bass like about the 3" NetBait® Tiny Paca Craw. Its patented broad, thin claws generate wild action at any speed, making the Tiny Paca ideal for many different situations where a lighter, smaller bait is desired. This is one amazing jig trailer, known both for its flapping, fluttering helicopter effect when slowly flipped or pitched and for its water-churning action when buzzed just under the surface or swum at the weedtops. All approaches work incredibly well, as the NetBait Tiny Paca Craw is uniquely designed with a hollow midsection (great for inserting a rattle or adding scent) that keeps the business end up, plus a ½" solid plastic butt end that holds the hook in position at all times. Loaded with heavy salt and anise, this versatile bait should have a place in every light-tackle angler's bag. Patented claws create wild action at any speed Extremely versatile jig trailer Helicopter action when pitched or flipped Water-churning action for high-speed swimming retrieves Hollow midsection holds a rattle or scent Solid butt end for easier hooking

For the tiny size you might go with a 1/0 to 3/0 hook.

I had the best luck and more hook sets with a 1/0 Wide Gap offset worm hook. Bring the point all the way up through the body and skin it in for weedless. I tried a non-wide gap worm hook, but missed a lot of strilkes.

answer 3
I'd fish a 3/0 wide gap offset style by any manufacturer for fish that size if you are going to Texas rig, though the best way I have found to catch fish that size is to take a bare jig about 1/8 to 1/4 oz and run it straight through the body leaving the end of the hook cleanly exposed.
