Ethernet cables connect network devices such as GPS and other units together (see photo). They transmit data using the Ethernet protocol.

yes. However you will only see the sonar readings. No gps data. need network of want to see that.

yes. But what do you want to see. if just want to see sonar data fine but that is all you will see.

Hello.
I am using LCX27C and LMS525DF.
Can the data of LCX27C and LMS525DF be shared by using “LOWRANCE ETHEXT15YL 15' ETHERNET CABLE”?
Can the way point registered with LCX27C be shared with LMS525DF?
Can you read the data of a water temperature sensor connected to LMS525DF in LCX27C?

If you run a cable from an HDS 5 to 5X w/o gps, will the gps show up on the 5X wihout the exspansion port?
