Excellent at blocking wind. I was in 28 degree weather with 15 to 20 MPH gust and still stayed warm with a light base layer.. Good jacket.

Have not yet worn this jacket under windy conditions, but based on shell fabric (tight weave) and weight, I would say that, while not wind proof, it would do a very good job of blocking wind.

It blocks wind very good. I live in the White Mtns in Az. and we do have some wind her. Does a good job.

I would say it slightly blocks. The only time i got a little chilled was right after sun-up and the wind really picked up and it was getting behind me in my chair. hi 20's low 30's air temps.
