Yes I have a Marlin Model 80 22 S-L-L-R Micro Groove Bolt Action Rifle (no serial#) I currently have Winchester (Super Speed) 22cal Rimfire cartridges 37GR Kopperklad Bullet Hollow Point.
Can I use Winchester Super X Subsonic 22LR Rimfire Ammo in my OLDER Marlin Model 80??

I have had great luck with Winchester Subsonics using my Savage Mark II bolt-action.

If the Rifle works using standard velocity ammo, I would recommend this without hesitation.

your gun is rated for 22lr, and bolt actions are typically strong actions. As long as your gun is in good condition, you should have no issues with subs or any other 22lr round, especially since 22lr is a low pressure cartridge.

They should work just fine in any manually operated firearm chambered for LR such as your Model 80. They are very accurate in my Marlin bolt action. Definitely give them a try. I think you'll be impressed. As a side note, the subsonic round doesn't seem to have enough recoil to operate my Marlin autoloader consistently.
