I shoot these with a Red Head Kronik XT with 80lbs draw. I shoot the G5 Montec CS 100 grain. That is also what the pro shop guys recommended. They shoot great.

Question

What spine to choose?

I am completely familiar with spines in arrows and I know what they mean. I was wondering if using the 400 spine in a 70# bow is too much stress on the arrow or should I just get the 340's? The only reason I'm asking this question is due to the fact that I'm trying to build a lighter arrow. Thanks.

340 would be better, however your arrow length is the key factor. Under 25 inches and you should be fine. Over that length and you should go to a 340, with the pounds your pulling that is.
